Reflections on Progress in AP Psychology

When I first chose AP Psychology, I thought that the class would be consisted of different interesting facts about human nature and behavior, but now I realize that in order to understand such content, I have to understand the basics of psychology and human structure first, which is the foundation of this branch of science.

After seeing my grade of the first quarter, I believe that my techniques—reading textbook, taking notes, and listen to class lecture attentively—are effective for studying AP psychology. I realize that taking an AP class takes a lot of personal studying time because each unit and chapter goes by so fast. Personally, the presentations on different senses did not help me that much because eventually, I ended up reading the whole text by myself.
